nanoValley.eu nanoValley.eu is a regional initiative based in South-West-Germany. It aims to improve
university-industry collaboration on technology transfer. The partners’ common goals are to advance the translation of basic science and technology research into marketrelevant application. In September 2009
the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) set up a project management office

Main task of this network institution is the development of a competence network in order to support the efficient transfer of the results of latest research and development into the industry. The activities of the Cluster Nanotechnology focus primarily on enterprises with application potential for nanotechnologies with special regard to small and medium-sized enterprises (SME).
The flow of information and feedback as well as the generation of transparency for the application of nanotechnology in the industry shall be guaranteed. V. - University of Paderborn A group of scientists from five universities of north-rhein-westfalen(NRW)(Bochum, Dortmund, Hagen, Paderborn and Wuppertal) has sat together, to develop jointly tools, processes and products of the nanotechnology and to manufacture it. To it was at 14 March 2001 in Hagen a charitable union "Nanotechnologie-Verbund NRW" founded.
