NETZSCH LFA 447 NanoFlash® - Xenon Flash Apparatus The Laser Flash Method (LFA) is a well established technique for the determination of thermal diffusivity, in which the increase in the sample’s temperature resulting from the absorption from a laser flash is measured. Thermal conductivity and diffusivity are the most important thermophysical material parameters for the description of the heat transport properties of a material or component. For the precise measurement of thermal diffusivity, the LaserFlash technique (LFA) has proven itself as a fast, versatile and precise absolute method. NETZSCH offers three LFA models, covering the entire spectrum of materials and temperatures.
In the LFA 447 NanoFlash®, a powerful Xenon flash lamp is used instead of the laser used in other LFA instruments. An integrated sample changer and easy accessibility to the sample receptacle allow high sample throughput for routine applications up to 300° C. http://www.netzsch-thermal-analysis.com/en/products/detail/pid,25.html [ Detail ]
